Christ United Reformed Church
This project looks at rebranding a local San Diego reformed church, Christ URC. While keeping true to the chi rho symbol (the symbol for Christ) from the original logo, I focused on giving the overall look a more refreshing and inviting touch. The victorian-style flourish is a node to the historical truths of the reformed Christian faith, and the organic nature of the curves symbolizes the life-giving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. One thing I admire about this church is the name "Christ" URC, so having the chi rho symbol and the "C" makes it extremely Christ-focused, as is the church's preaching and theology.
